Do the Right Thing

You wont hear the wrong words
There won't be any questions
To the things that sound absurd

You're breaking your back for 40 hours a week
to bring home the bacon and some food to eat
you don't hurt anyone,
you keep to yourself and alone
These things you've done, been in control,
Just so you can have some peace

Change is something that you've always feared
Moving on takes time, and so does switching gears
sit on the sidelines complacent
until you can find a replacement
But giving in to your delusions and avoiding life
does nothing more than give you hollow cheers
